This program is designed to educate students interested in Diagnostic Medical Sonography training, by providing basic knowledge of Medical terminology. Anatomy and Physiology, Sonophysic, Basic Principle of Instrumentation, Imaging to recognize both normal and abnormal conditions through practice and theory. The objective of this program is to prepare the graduate to apply for entry-level diagnostic medical sonography training (Abdominal or OB/GYN or both positions). The diagnostic medical sonography training enables a student to act as physician assistant in the field of imaging, expected to find answers to diagnostic problems rather than merely looking at the organ's image.
This ability is requested and expected from the sonographer by physicians. The diagnostic medical sonography training will educate the knowledge of Medical Terminology like Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Nursing Procedures, Normal Sonographic Application of Abdominal and Small Parts, OB/GYN, case Study Protocol, Writing, Filing, Filling in related area.

Course Schedule:
AM Schedule 20 hours per week x 50 weeks = 1000 hours
PM Schedule 14 hours per week x 72 weeks = 1000 hours
Day Class: Monday through Thursday 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (Day)
Breaks: 10:20 to 10:40, 12:40 to 1:00
Evening Class: Monday through Thursday 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
